I agree, there aren't any, although I prefer the earlier versions before they changed the jam into a Samson & Delilah type lick.

But I really like Jerry's solo on the record. Short but really good.

Man, now I'm veering off into Samson & Daleelah in my head.

I also like those early versions, before the "jam" got frozen in place, and it became the big rock concert messianic big statement , it became . Did I mention it was played to death ! I know taper friends whom would list it as "Throwing up" ...
I actually don't mind hearing a good one, now and then, but what is disappointing, to me , is the "Jam" is not too much of a jam, but a set piece . I always thought they could have done more with this section, maybe split it like Playing , go into something else ( Samson?) and come back with the end later .
I don;t mid the rather "preachy" lyrics, sort of evenhanded , but I remember , during the line "we are on our own" , Bob striking a Christlike stance , with the spotlight just on him . Tasteless, and cheezy .
I am glad for you really like the song ( you do get to hear it a lot !) , wish I liked it more .
